Raymond is partner in Webb Henderson’s telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) practice. He has over a decade of specialist experience advising clients in TMT sectors internationally.
Some of Raymond’s key clients include nbn, Google, Singtel, SUBCO, du, Lumen and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.
He has particular expertise in:
- commercial and regulatory aspects of submarine cable projects and other digital infrastructure deployments, including drafting and negotiating all key transaction documents for such projects and advising on licensing, cybersecurity and other regulatory obligations; and
- the regulation of next-generation high-speed broadband networks globally, including the design of price regulation frameworks for broadband access networks.
Raymond is valued by clients for his critical and strategic thinking, collaborative approach and strong industry knowledge.
Raymond holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (LLM equivalent) with Distinction from the University of Oxford. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations.
Raymond was first admitted to practice in 2014. He is admitted to practice in New South Wales, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
