Alex is a commercial and telecommunications lawyer in Webb Henderson’s Sydney office, specialising in telecommunications regulation and digital infrastructure transactions.

Alex’s experience includes advising extensively across different areas of telecommunications and consumer regulation, including related areas of technology, security, data and privacy. Alex also has extensive experience advising on complex technology and digital transformations.

Some examples of Alex’s recent experience includes:

• Advising major Australian organisations, including state and federal government agencies, on significant software and technology procurement projects.
• Working across a number of technology infrastructure and transformation projects, in Australia and internationally.
• Assisting one of Australia’s largest telecommunications providers across multiple areas of telco regulation, including consumer protections, emergency calling, access regimes and regulator engagement.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours, Diploma of Legal Practice, and Bachelor of Commerce Economics from the University of Newcastle. Before joining Webb Henderson, Alex worked in technology and intellectually property at Hall & Wilcox Lawyers, in Sydney.

Alex was first admitted to practice in 2021. He is admitted to practice in New South Wales, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
