Alan is a commercial and regulatory lawyer with considerable experience in projects across the telecommunications, media and technology sector, both in Australia and in the wider Asia-Pacific region.
Alan’s experience includes projects relating to broadband access services (covering fibre-, wireless- and satellite-based services), spectrum access and sharing, as well as infrastructure procurement and deployment. Alan’s experience also includes advising clients that operate in highly-regulated telecommunications environments.
Alan’s drafting expertise, commercial acumen and deep industry knowledge have earned him the trust of key business stakeholders across his client base. Alan has undertaken in-house secondments, with commercial team members regularly appreciating his solutions-focused mindset and practical, timely legal support.
Before joining Webb Henderson, Alan worked in advisory and consulting engagements for Australian and multi-national clients. Those business and industry sectors included network deployment and managed cloud services, IoT solution development, and fintech.
Alan was first admitted to practice in 2017. He is admitted to practice in New South Wales, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
