He has extensive experience advising clients on strategic corporate, commercial and regulatory projects.

He’s been involved in some of the most high-profile transactions in the TMT space in Australia, the Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. This work includes projects on wireless technologies, fibre networks, undersea cables, structural separation, MVNOs, network sharing and interconnection, as well as competition law and regulatory clearance matters.

Ara’s current practice focuses on corporate and commercial transactions that support the delivery of large-scale telecoms infrastructure projects, including next generation access networks, intercity and long-haul terrestrial networks, undersea cable systems and next generation satellite systems. He’s collaborated with clients on the design and implementation of regulatory models for wholesale access to these networks.
